Gerlitzen Austria
Gerlitzen is an attractive and picturesque area with the charming town of Villach close by. Perfect for beginners and lower intermediates.
We have been coming to this excellent resort close to the Italian and Slovenian boarder since 1991 and it remains a brilliant choice for schools. The skiing here is perfect for beginners and our regular hotel is friendly and a great base for schools.
The near by town of Villach is very lively and cosmopolitan whilst still retaining its traditional style and charm. Gerlitzen is just 20mins by coach from our fantastic hotel and has a good variety of runs, mostly around 2000m meaning snow conditions are excellent. Snowboarders are also well catered for with a freeride area and Freestyle Park.
Most school groups are happy here all week but Bad Kleinkirchheim (BKK) is just a 40min drive away and is available to ski at a supplement.
