A huge variety of runs for beginners and intermediates plus lots of après ski options for school groups to enjoy.
The Ziller Valley needs very little introduction to British skiers with Mayrhofen being its best known village. The Zillertal superski pass offers 640km of piste in a picturesque valley and includes the Hintertux Glacier.
Although the area is not interconnected, new lifts have been installed giving larger areas. Getting around is easy on the free shuttle bus, or coach groups can use their own coach to access the different areas.
There are beginner ski slopes throughout the area at valley level so groups have plenty of choice. From here gondolas take you up into the bowls where there are a wide variety of wide blue runs that are great for building confidence.
Intermediates are spoilt for choice with the sheer amount of blue and red runs throughout. Advanced skiers will be able to explore the whole area and enjoy the challenges at higher altitude.
This is also a good choice for groups wishing to snowboard.
