We believe that travel broadens the mind and creates an optimal learning experience for all; however we are aware of tourism’s environmental impacts. We have taken every reasonable step to becoming more sustainable, considering environmental, economic and social issues across the breadth of our operation.

Equity Club Hotels and other accommodations

Most hotels now feature energysaving measures as standard, and many of the hotels featured in this brochure source local suppliers for food, excursions and more, which helps to support the local economy whilst also minimising the impact of transport. We also provide educational materials on sustainability in our Equity Club resorts.

We appreciate that some forms of transport are greener than others, which is why we offer you a choice of how you travel. Whilst most of our tours are available by coach or air, we can also offer transport to the French resorts of La Plagne, Tignes and Le Corbier by Eurostar.

Most of the ski resorts we use implement an environmental management system to protect and safeguard the fragile mountain ecosystems in which they are located. Equity School Ski are proud to work in association with SkiClub of Great Britain. Visit www.skiclub.co.uk for more information on their ‘Respect the Mountain’ campaign, which raises awareness and provides information on environmental issues in skiing, and to check out the great benefits of SkiClub membership.

Sloping Off

For the 14/15 ski season, Equity School Ski will also be offering Sloping Off Hotels, providing excellent value for coach groups. Although the hotels are a little further from the slopes, you’ll get the best possible ski experience along with high standards of safety and service.
