Accommodation is located in St Michael, just a short walk from the ski-lifts, and close to the pretty town centre and the many après-ski activities available. With a great snow record, quiet slopes and spectacular scenery on offer, Lungau is an ideal location for school groups.
Groups have direct access to 190km of skiing, accessed by 48 ski lifts. Speiereck/Grosseck is excellent for beginners and a great starting point for experienced skiers wanting to find their ski-legs, and a new gondola will replace the current chair-lift for the 2012/13 season.
Due to the rural location of the resort’s the slopes here are never over-crowded, even during peak weeks, meaning no queues for lifts and plenty of space on the slopes for you to enjoy. St Michael is a pretty village to explore on foot and has a bowling alley, disco venue and curling, whilst sleigh rides are available weather permitting. Nearby Tamsweg has an indoor swimming pool.
