Each of the three resort villages has its own identity, with beginners starting in a dedicated family and learning area in Saint Lary 1700 and progressing to the more varied upper resorts once confident. Saint Lary 1900 has a network of blues and reds including ‘La Mirabelle’, the longest ski-run in the Pyrenees. Saint Lary 2400 features a variety of terrain for all abilities, from winding blue runs, expansive reds and some challenging blacks, not to mention the mogul and slalom stadia, complete with PA systems.
With a great snow record thanks to its altitude and extensive network of snow cannons Saint Lary is one of the leading resorts in the Pyrenees yet benefits from quieter slopes and shorter lift queues than the more-famed French Alpine resorts!
With evening entertainments ranging from swimming, ice-skating and paint-balling to cave visits, a range of museums and even free entry to the hydro-electric power station, Saint Lary is the ideal destination for school groups of all ages, both on and off the slopes.
