Two new runs were recently added so all levels of skier can now access both sides of the circuit. The Prato Nevoso side is best for beginners with minimal walking, easy runs both at village level and at altitude, and a caring ski school. There are 3 moving carpet type lifts especially for beginners, one outside the Hotel Galassia and two in the village.
Progression is great which means beginners can manage quite long blue runs before the end of the week. Intermediates have plenty of wide, long runs to enjoy and for strong intermediates there are some tremendous reds, especially over the Artesina side, and some exhilarating cruises in high bowls. Prato Nevoso is a pleasant village with a notably friendly atmosphere. It is safe and quiet but there is enough après-ski to keep school groups entertained all week.
