In addition Santa Caterina enjoys a favourable climate so you can often expect fresh snow and blue skies! As a new addition for 2012/13 we are sure this will be a popular choice with our school groups.
There is an eight-seater gondola which ascends from the resort at 1,730m right up to Sobretta at 2,775m. This lift serves the Deborah Compagnoni racing slope, which was created for the World Championships in 2005, as well as a variety of other runs. There’s also a new six seat chairlift which ascends from Valle dell’Alpe, the sunniest part of the ski area, up towards the Sobretta Cres.
Santa Caterina is suitable for all abilities with fantastic beginner and intermediate areas as well as some good advanced terrain. The resort itself is quiet and set amongst some beautiful scenery. This charming Italian ski resort is ideal for school groups.
