Tucked away in the Franconia Notch State Park, Cannon makes the perfect complement to our New Hampshire Ski Safari offering some of the most exciting skiing/riding in the east. Whilst Cannon has a justifiable reputation for challenging expert trails, in recent years it has expanded its beginner and intermediate terrain, not least the Tuckerbrook Learning area which benefits from not being accessed from trails above.
If you’re a first timer on the snow, you’ll start on the gentle Brookside slope which has a great view over northern NH, and even into Vermont. The Snowsports School is located along the side of the Brookside slope, and has a magic carpet lift. Combine your trip to Cannon with skiing in Loon Mountain, Waterville Valley or Bretton Woods.
