Straddling the continental divide at the east end of the Fraser Valley, the area is rich in Western lore and reminders of its pioneer history. Three interconnected mountains create a microclimate, which is responsible for the fantastic snow and variety of terrain.The 30-acre “Discovery Park” is an excellent area for beginners who can learn the fundamentals in a controlled, sectioned-off area. Once up and running, Winter Park offers mile after mile of wide open intermediate slopes which are perfect for laid-back cruising, it’s designed to make you feel and look like a pro! For advanced and expert skiers the pull is the legendary steeps, deeps and moguls of Mary Jane.
