Claviere is always one of our most popular destinations for schools. The skiing here is excellent and includes one day on the Milky Way, one of the biggest systems in the world, and one day in the neighbouring French resort of Montgenèvre.
The local skiing is excellent and is distinguished by delightful tree runs. The Claviere runs are varied and attractive, curving through the trees on the shoulders of the high divide between Italy and France. Like neighbouring Montgenèvre, the snow record is first class.
For beginner groups there is a pleasant nursery area at resort height with a moving carpet, as well as a long blue run which starts above the trees and goes all the way back to the village. Enthusiastic beginners will feel a great sense of achievement when they manage it.
Intermediates have many choices, whilst advanced skiers have some good reds and the rest of the Milky Way to explore.
Claviere also has plenty of activities available for your group in the evenings. Try ice-skating on the outdoor rink, enjoy Karaoke, a pizza evening, or experience the thrill of a nighttime skidoo ride to enjoy a hot chocolate high in the mountains!

Always a popular choice with groups, the Roma is centrally located and offers excellent value. It has been a mainstay of our Claviere programme for many years and we recommend it highly.
Location: An ideal location in the middle of the village, practically on the nursery slopes, the Roma offers maximum convenience.
Facilities:The Roma is a pleasant reminder of the early days of skiing and is one of the original village buildings. The hotel is basic but clean, and the bar has been modernised and doubled in size. There is SKY TV in the bar.
Accommodation: Rooms are decorated in a traditional style, and all have private facilities. There are 5 twin rooms, 12 triples or quads and a series of 9 apartment style rooms for 4-6 people. Adults are accommodated in twin or triple rooms.
Meals: The hotel is known for its great quality food, and groups will enjoy breakfast, hot lunches and a full evening meal each day.
