School ski holidays in Quebec, Stoneham
A favourite sunny resort with well-groomed trails split over 4 mountains in a horseshoe valley.
A favourite amongst local families for its warm and sunny climate the skiing at Stoneham is split over 4 mountains in a horseshoe valley that protects all the runs from the elements. The sunny, well-groomed trails are popular with families and school groups and most of the terrain is ideal for beginners and intermediates.
Stoneham has 2 of the 4 areas floodlit from top to bottom right through to 10pm every evening and the ski school keeps operating right until the lights are turned off. At the base of the mountain there is a dedicated learn-to-ski area with a moving carpet so that even beginners will have the best possible start.
The progression is good as well, with a number of long greens and blues from top to bottom. Experts have their own "extreme" area on mountain No. 4 with a number of specially designed runs. The brilliant snowmaking, covers 86% of the runs and the grooming is first class.
