Brilliant position, ski-in and ski-out convenience with slope-side bar terrace. High standard hotel with fitness area, sauna, steam room, table-tennis and TV/video.

Equity guests have been delighted with the perfect position of the Hotel Le Mont Corbier. It's well furnished and there's lots of space. The front of the hotel has amazing views overlooking a wide valley. The slopes and lifts are all at the rear. It's only 40m to a beginners drag and you can ski back to the doorstep. It could not be more convenient.

The ClubHotel Le Mont Corbier is one of the best in our brochure. It is a modern, practical and smart building with excellent public facilities. Officially a 2 star, we would say it's nearer a 3 star. The décor is of a good standard throughout with lots of traditional beams, panels and carved wooden ornaments. The owner is a first class carpenter who built virtually everything with meticulous care. The terracotta tiles and pleasant pastel wall coverings give a modern, clean but warm feel.

The bedrooms are wood panelled, softly lit, and the furniture is good quality. All bedrooms have balcony, bathroom (bath with shower, wash basin, hairdryer) and separate WC. Both doubles and twins are available as well as some interconnecting family rooms.

The restaurant has fantastic views, and there's a good bar (with both no smoking and smoking areas) that we refurbished last season and made triple the size! There are doors straight out to a large, south-facing sun terrace with heater lamps. The fitness area has a sauna (small charge). The ski room with individually numbered lockers exits straight on to the snow.
