Friendly family run hotel with excellent food, doorstep skiing and separate recreation area for schools.

This is without doubt one of the friendliest hotels in our brochure. Fabio, the manager, is now the owner as well and he will go out of his way to make you feel welcome. Nothing is too much trouble for him and we always have lots of repeat bookings thanks to the fantastic service he provides. It also helps that the food here is superb!

The Monte Maggio is large and comfortable and is geared to schools. The public areas are excellent with a separate recreation area for schools and Fabio has big plans to improve the property and give it a brighter feel. The bedrooms are basic but functional and all our many school parties have been delighted with their stay.

It's in a quiet area, so supervision is easy, and the position for skiers could not possibly be improved - you ski back virtually to the door. There's a four person chair next to the hotel or you can walk or skate to other lifts in 3/4 mins.
