School ski holidays in Ravascletto
New for this season, Ravascletto has a traditional village feel and is perfect for beginner groups.
Ravascletto is a small mountain resort located on the border with Austria and Slovenia. It is set in a stunning location and offers the highest slopes in this region. From the highest point of the skiing area there are incredible views over Carnia, the Austrian mountains and the distant Julian Alps. With 25km of skiing this is a compact resort but it's attractive and the skiing is ideally suited to beginners and intermediates. We are very pleased to be including Ravascletto in our programme and are sure it will prove a big hit with Equity clients.
The skiing is split into two different areas. Our groups will start on the slopes nearest the hotel where there are nine pistes all of which are suitable for novices and will help your group build confidence and practice their turns. Progression here is fast so groups should soon take the main cable car to the second ski area located on Mount Zoncolan. This mountain rises almost 2000 metres and has a variety of other runs to enjoy including a challenging black for advanced skiers.
The snow record here is good and there is usually plenty of snow to enjoy. However, the area is also equipped with an efficient snow making system so back-up is there if required. There is also a snow park for anyone who wishes to try and defy gravity!
In the village itself there are several shops including a supermarket and also a bar and pizzeria. For après ski groups can enjoy ice skating as well as swimming at the covered swimming pool at the Sportur Hotel.
