School ski holidays in Copper Mountain

One of the best ski resorts in the world, with ski in / ski out accommodation.

Copper's high elevation and low humidity combine to produce some of the finest snow on the planet. Its backcountry is a haven to extreme skiers, from adrenaline-crazed powder junkies to skilled crosscountry masters. Power through mogul fields and carve perfect lines down wide-open runs. First-timers need not fear, Copper's ski instructors want nothing more than to share their life's love with you making it a great place to learn.

Copper Mountain is ideal terrain for all levels of skiers or snowboarder with its naturally divided terrain. The mountain's west side is gentle and sloping creating the perfect place for learning, because it keeps beginner skiers in their own area.

The mountain becomes gradually steeper as you move east offering a great starting point for expert or advanced intermediate skiers. Once on the mountain, it is relatively easy to get to different areas on the mountain, so intermediate skiers and above can start anywhere and get to other parts of the mountain easily. Snowboarders are also well catered for with Copper's main terrain park Catalyst, which has everything a rider wants.

Nearby on the shores of Lake Dillon is the old gold mining town of Frisco, as well as Silverthorne which has a huge factory outlet mall with major brands at factory prices.
