With 356 pistes covering a huge area of 860km there is always something for every school group in Amadé! The whole area is named in honour of the city of Salzburg’s most famous son, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, and it offers fantastic skiing for all levels.
Each area - Salzburger Sportwelt, Schladming-Dachstein, Gastein, Grossarltal and Hochkönig - is massive in its own right. Even better is that the snow conditions here are excellent with slopes up to 2700m and powerful snowmaking covering 80% of the area.
We have accommodation options in five different villages - Altenmarkt, Zauchensee, Alpendorf, Wagrain and Bad Gastein. Each village has access to a different part of the Amadé ski region and offers groups a slightly different experience. What they all have in common though is fantastic skiing and traditional Austrian hospitality.
There are plenty of large lift-side nursery areas for beginners but Amadé is best known for hundreds of kilometres of the best cruising in the Alps - great for novices looking to build their confidence.
