Hohentauern has a small but perfectly formed ski area, linked by 5 ski lifts which connect 11km of runs for all levels. The local ski area has a lovely mix of blues and reds making it a perfect choice for beginners and intermediates. There are also
a few black runs for the more adventurous. From the top of the mountain there are a number of long reds which give a sense of achievement for those building their confidence.
This resort is particulary suited to children with specially designed areas such as the “hop-skip-jump railway” and “the forest of the gnomes”, even the ski school has a ski roundabout and magic carpet conveyor! The ski school is conveniently located directly by the lift, putting all the facilities within easy reach.
There are plenty of après ski activities on offer including ice skating, curling rinks, bowling and horse-drawn sleigh rides.
