Wildschönau has a focus on ‘gentle’ tourism so groups coming here will find a friendly Austrian village with a quiet atmosphere. The ski area covers four separate resorts - Auffach, Thierbach, Oberau and Niederau - which all provide a wide range of enjoyable skiing on tree lined pistes, suitable for all levels of ability. The best skiing for beginners is on the Schatzberg in Auffach which offers wide runs, sunny cruisers and gentle terrain. Wildschönau also offers a variety of après-ski activities including swimming, discos and sleigh rides.
