An ultra convenient ski resort with superb progression and an excellent ski school. Safe and easy to supervise.

We have featured Piancavallo for many years with great success and it is one of our favourite resorts for first-time school groups. The resort has a typically Italian atmosphere even though it’s purpose-built.
Piancavallo has the security of powerful snow-making and all of its slopes are covered.
It was, in fact, amongst the first resorts to offer a snow guarantee. The lift system is also particularly well planned.
Beginners benefit from a wide area for practicing their turns and they will also enjoy the changing scenic views as they make their way down the slopes. Ski progression is notably good and the ski school is excellent.
The majority of our school groups are usually beginners and early intermediates and so this resort suits them perfectly.
The pistes fan out from the village centre and provide a good mix of long, easy runs and more challenging intermediate skiing which all connect well. Everybody, even beginners, is able to ski back to the resort at the end of the day.
With comfortable ski-lift facilities, safe slopes and a modern artificial snow-making system this is a convenient and reliable choice for school groups.
