Kirkwood, home of America's deepest snow (they received an incredible 65ft of snow in 2004/05), and only 50 minutes from our hotels in South Lake Tahoe, boasts an incredible variety of terrain to suit all abilities of or boarder.

Over the past few years the resort has undergone some terrific expansion, cutting new trails, upgrading their lift system and developing a lively resort village at the foot of the mountain including some great outdoor activities such as an ice skating rink and 'Slide Mountain'. At a base elevation of 7800ft it's no wonder the skiing's great! With a nationally recognised beginners area, long and fun blue cruisers for intermediates, and unparalleled expert terrain, Kirkwood has it all including crowd-free slopes!
