Loon New Hampshire

A mere 2 hour drive from Boston brings you to the picturesque White Mountain area of New Hampshire. Imagine pretty clapboard houses, white spired churches, cosy taverns and 200 years of history which beautifully combines quaint New England traditions with the very latest in ski technology.

Tucked away amongst the trees is the town of Lincoln and the nearby resorts of Loon and Cannon (5-10 mins transfers), Bretton Woods (30 min transfer) and Waterville Valley (40 min transfer).
Just a short ride from our hotels is the award-winning resort of Loon Mountain offering a fantastic variety of skiing and boarding. Nestled within the breathtaking White Mountain National Forest, Loon's terrain has been carefully developed to suit all abilities of or boarder. More recently the mountain has widened it's ski area by opening South Peak and adding two chair lifts and three new trails. Eventually the development will connect the mountain directly with the town of Lincoln.
Beginners are well catered for here with the Loon 'Get Good Quick' teaching method, whilst intermediates will benefit from the addition of some more challenging trails at the summit.
Experts will not be left out here either with some amazing skiing on the North Peak. Loon also offers ice skating and 2 base lodges connected by the old JE Henry Steam Railroad.
