Equity In Resort
Many of our hotels operate every week of the season for us, so the Rep is a permanent fixture. We don't pack you off to fend for yourselves in some hotel we hardly know. Hotels we use for only a few weeks still have the full rep service and are located close to some of our most popular resorts where we have a lot of people on the ground in case they are needed. Directors and Senior Managers are also within reach. That's how we can give you peace of mind.
Duty Hours
Representatives and Duty Managers are on call 24 hours a day. All reps have days off but cover is arranged to maintain the service.
Student Safety
We live by a simple principle “make it fun but make it safe” perhaps one reason why almost half a million young people have travelled with Equity and all have returned home safely. Our Safety management procedures have been devised over many many years and we are confident that they set a benchmark within the Industry. Our staff undertake regular H&S training and our policies are subject to external scrutiny and are constantly reviewed by independent experts to keep pace with best practice.

We are a full member of the School Travel Forum, and abide with its rigorous code of practice and safety management standards which meet the requirements of DCSF ( Department of Children, Schools and Families) guidelines. 
These are externally verified each year by suitably qualified independent Health and Safety professionals.
The School Travel Forum Code of Practice has been developed with all the
major Teachers Associations and Unions including NAHT, AHSCL, ATL, NASUWT, NUT, PAT and by the Outdoor Education Advisors' Panel. Details of the School Travel Forum Code of Practice are available from school travel forum.
You can rely on us to get it right in the first place but should the unexpected happen we have the knowledge and the resources to resolve any issues. Once you are on tour, Equity staff are on duty night and day, equipped with full details of your tour and ready to go into action if you need us. Our support service runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week so you can rely on us in the event of any problems.
