Grandvalira is an extensive ski destination naturally split into two ski areas connected by a sophisticated lift system. The areas of Pas De La Casa, Grau Roig and Encamp resorts are much-loved and some of the highest in the Pyrenees, all boast stunning views and beautiful runs, which flow all the way down to Lake Pessons. The city centre, Andorra la Vella is easy to access from Encamp, an exciting location for evening entertainment.
Soldeu, El Tarter and Canillo are well connected with a fantastic and fast lift system, offering immense skiing opportunities as well as fast and easy access to the slopes. Fluent English-speaking ski instructors encourage each individual to meet their potential.
Cafés, bars and restaurants are focused in the main ski areas, making this ski circuit a hugely convenient place for school groups to ski. Each of the villages in resort offers its own activities so there’s plenty to choose from including Caldea Thermal Baths; Europe's largest spa, swimming, bowling, tax-free shopping, ice skating at an Olympic sized ice rink and of course the traditional disco.

Ski Trip to Grandvalira
School ski video from: Roedean School
Andorra is a beautiful destination to take your students skiing. See for yourself and watch this great video from Roedean school who travelled with Equity during February half-term. With blue skies and plenty of snow you can’t go wrong when choosing Grandvalira for your school ski trip.
Skiing
Once ready to hit the slopes, confident beginners and intermediates are spoilt for choice - Soldeu and El Tarter offer a fantastic choice of blue and red runs from the highest point in resort at 2,560m, right down to the village centres, whilst Grau Roig and Pas de la Casa both feature a good selection of blues and reds, not to mention some steeper and more challenging runs down from the ridge.
Advanced skiers will have blast here – with plenty of mileage and a fully inter-linked ski-lift system it’s easy to travel from resort to resort and sample a little of everything, from the tree-lined runs in lower Soldeu and towards El Tarter, to the open face of Pas de la Casa.

Grandvalira Ski Circuits
Grandvalira is an extensive ski destination so we have split the area into two ski circuits to ensure your booking meets the needs of your group. The total ski area is 210km and each circuit covers approximately half of this. A full area lift pass is available at a supplement. You will be placed in accommodation that has the best access to this area. Our ski specialists will recommend a circuit based on your requirements, or you can let us know your preference upon enquiry.

Circuit one includes the areas: Encamp, Pas De La Casa & Grau Roig. Dedicated nursery slopes and a separate learners’ zone allows first timers to practice at their own pace, while more experienced skiers have a balance of blues and reds to choose from.

Circuit two includes the areas: Soldeu, El Tarter & Canillo. Offering great variety, this ski area has a good combination of wide, open slopes and sheltered wooded runs.
