Le Massif is a unique ski resort as it offers spectacular views over the St Lawrence River from the top of the mountain. Quebec’s most popular mountain and the perfect partner to Mont Sainte Anne, Le Massif’s more challenging runs motivate your pupils to keep progressing right up to the last day.
Even though the resort is often used for World Cup downhills runs, the resort is not just limited to seasoned skiers. On arriving at Le Massif, you will find that the ‘base lodge’ is actually at the summit, so even beginners get to start at the top of the mountain – something beginners can’t do in European ski resorts! The mountain also offers plenty of attractive green and blue runs for beginners and intermediates to perfect their skills on.
On arriving at Le Massif, you will find that the ‘base lodge’ is actually at the summit, so even beginners get to start at the top of the mountain! Le Massif offers plenty of après-ski activities to choose from where students can experience French-Canadian culture. Activities include going to see an ice hockey match, a traditional horse-drawn carriage sugar-shacking tour, where students can learn how Maple syrup is made, a cruise on the St Lawrence River Ice-Breaker Ferry and dog sledding. Additional evening activities can be arranged including bowling, swimming, quizzes, and discos.

Skiing
Starting at the top for a change, beginners have the rare opportunity to discover the whole mountain, skiing all the way to the bottom on well-linked greens, before taking the lift back up for a well-deserved hot chocolate break.
Intermediates will be delighted at the range and variety of the skiing here, with wide-open blues and runs through the trees. Meanwhile, the experienced skiers among you have wide trails to cruise along and tree-lined runs to discover.
For any snowboarder, as well as the extensive terrain, there are 2 fabulous snowboard parks: for beginners there is the mini-park and for the more experienced, The Zone.
