Ski Waterville Valley

Host to 13 World Cup ski events, the top-class ski resort of Waterville Valley in New Hampshire provides plenty of inspiration for school ski groups.

A recent $7.6 million investment means Waterville Valley has benefitted from a number of significant lift upgrades, Base Lodge renovations and a Green Peak trail expansion.

New Hampshire’s mountains are blessed with superb annual snowfall, and due to recent state-of-the-art snowmaking upgrades, Waterville Valley now boasts top-notch trail conditions all season, running well into mid-April, meaning more happy days on the slopes for your school.

The village and ski resort are built at the foot of Mount Tecumseh and provides plenty of inspiration for budding and advanced skiers – from pop up terrain parks to high quality tuition. Groups can also expect a friendly and warm American welcome upon arrival.

Improving skiers will have a blast high fiving their way down Waterville’s interactive terrain park known as the ‘Fun Run’. Beginner skiers will not miss out on any of the fun, as they can experience what it’s like to ski from the summit, skiing their way down ‘Chandler’s Way’.

The fun doesn’t stop once leaving the slopes. There’s plenty of après ski and evening activity options including a large games arcade, candlepin bowling, indoor golf, ice skating, or opt for the ‘All American’ experience by watching an ice hockey or basketball match at Plymouth State University. Furthermore, make sure to take advantage of the tax-free shopping at the Mall of New Hampshire.

With our New Hampshire Ski Safari options, you can combine your trip to Waterville Valley with neighbouring resorts including Loon, Cannon or Bretton Woods.
